4H Club Sturgis comes to explore the world of Clay and meet my Icelandic Horses

Today was our first class and the children did fantastic art they made masks, Sqiudward ,an angle ,a duck,a cat,snowman and a snake, plus! five platter bowls! All the 4H mom's made beautiful plaques and one angle. Projects were made using slab, pinch and press and slip attach methods.everyones pieces are really nice.We all had a lot of fun.
The horses loved meeting everyone.The kids will be surprised at the way the horses will run to greet them when they come back to finish their projects.Icelandic's love children and are very gentle. You could tell we had a yard full of little animal ambassador's.
We will have pictures of the students and the projects soon on the site check back to see the students works. I can't wait to see them fired and painted, I love the painting part bringing all the work life. It was a Very exciting real fun day Thanks to the 4H club for asking me to have a class I really enjoyed meeting everyone and look forward to our next class.

Our Horses are Pure Bred Registered Icelandic horses and are perfect for Show  and Trail they love to please they are known as the horse with extra sense and are incredible friends to have. They have terrific personalities and great hair too!
