This Year the Yorkton Chamber of Commerce present the Honorable Lorn Calvert a sculpture created by me.Melody Kozmeniuk at the Premier's Business Dinner
as Yorkton celebrates it its 125th Anniversary
1882-2007 Yorkton The Treasure Chest of The Parkland I created the
chest to accompany the painting with the children and Train tracks
Madison Blackstone created for the Yorkton Chamber. The Chest
represents a child hopes as they set off on there path to school
University and onto their career it represents the hope that our
children begin and continue their careers here in our Province of
Saskatchewan. Known as the treasure chest of the Parkland Yorkton a
chest of opportunity for its youth its community members. Thank you to

Reflections of Nature 2006
October 12th to 15th in Saskatoon was the Reflections of Nature wildlife competition organized by Saskatchewan Wildlife Art Association, Western Canada's largest wildlife art show. I received a third place ribbon in open level (open to all artists. Artists who have previously won any awards at the open level or artists who have previously won any best of show honors at the intermediate level must compete at this level). I entered a sculpture called Moonlit Dream which is an artistic but not realistic fish jumping from water under the moonlit sky.

I created Red Shoes for the Yorkton Chamber of Commerce. They presented the shoes to the honorable Lorne Calvert as a gift. The Red shoes represent the little girl shown in Madison Blackstone's painting that she created for the Business Dinner.A beautiful painting which shows a beautiful Saskatchewan sky and a little Daydreamer The shoes symbolize her steps as she begins her life on the Saskatchewan prairies.
The chamber presents the Premier of Saskatchewan, Honorable Lorne Calvert, the Red Shoes.
